Bergeggi Island is located close to the Western Ligurian Sea coast, 10 km south-west of Savona. It’s a cone shaped rocky island, emerging from the sea up to 53 meters of height, covered by the typical native vegetation called “Mediterranean Scrub”. It faces a coast rich in caverns and coves, with little sandy bays and cliffs falling in crystal waters where at the bottom the coral reefs alternates with wide Posidonia Meadows.

With a depth between 2 and 30 meters (6 and 90 ft), Bergeggi Island is the perfect place to enjoy your dives along the line while discovering reefs full of marine life. Find out where eels and octopuses hide, see groupers and trevallys hunting, slide through hundreds of damsel fishes in the silence of breath hold diving.

Savona has a Mediterranean climate. The average yearly temperature is around 19 °C (66 °F) during the day and 12 °C (54 °F) at night. In the warmest month – July and August – the average temperature is 28 °C (82 °F) during the day and 20 °C (68 °F) at night. Generally, a typical summer season lasts about 4 to 6 months, from May/June to September/October.

WATER TEMPERATURE:

Warming up during summer season. At surface 20°C (68°F) in May, up to 26-27°C (80°F) in August/September. Two main thermoclines at 10-12 meters (35 feet) and at 20 meters (66 feet).

VISIBILITY:

Highly influenced by whether conditions. Averagely from 15 to 20 meters (50 to 66 feet) in summer.

Other activities recommended:

Trekking, Hiking, Biking, sightseeing historical places.

Established in May 2007 by the Ministry of Environment and Protection of Environment and Sea, the “Isola di Bergeggi” Marine Protected Area has been described as “a treasure chest of biodiversity, history and legend”. Bergeggi Island is located close to the Western Ligurian Sea coast, in the municipality of the same name and aligned with Punta del Maiolo, 10 km south-west of Savona.

It’s a cone shaped rocky island, emerging from the sea up to 53 meters of height, covered by the typical native vegetation called “Mediterranean Scrub”. It faces a coast rich in caverns and coves, with little sandy bays and cliffs falling in crystal waters where on the bottom the coral reefs alternate with wide Posidonia meadows.

Our boat, the “Tresette II“, has been designed as a floating diving center. On board services are studied to offer you relaxing and funny days.

While Divers and Freedivers enjoy their time underwater, the wide sundeck is ready to host the sunbath lovers and in the kitchen someone is working to offer to the guest an excellent italian lunch.

The boat is equipped with all the safety devices mandatory for Freediving, Recreational and Technical Scuba Diving.

The “Tresette II”, 10.20 meters of length overall and 3.30 meters of width, can transport 18 passengers and is equipped with a Bauer K14 compressor.

We speak italian, english, french and spanish.
